Where are the diamonds?

  • Diamond #1 – 38 Sherring Street North, Hagersville
  • Diamond #2 and #3 (the Pit) – access of Athens Street (near Cedar)

When does the season start?

Typically the season starts the 3rd week of May (after the Victoria Day long weekend) for U9 and older. T-Ball and Tyke normally start the first week of June.

How often would my player play?

Typically teams will play 1-2 games a week, with practices up to the coach and the team.

What night of the week will my player play?

Each division will have their own home night for games and/or practice but all away games can be scheduled any night of the week (Monday-Friday). Home nights are typically decided by the head coach.

What do I need for equipment?

Jerseys are provided by Hagersville Minor Ball. Each player will need to provide their own helmet and gloves. Bats are also supplied by the league, but many players also bring their own favourite bat along to the games. Teams U9 and higher typically also require baseball pants as part of the uniform.

* Jerseys are the property of Hagersville Minor Ball. Replacement cost is $40.00 if damaged or lost.

Do I need to have experience?

Experience is not required. Our teams and coaches are happy to work with new players and help build skills.

Where can we expect to play?

Hagersville Minor Ball is part of the Haldimand Erie League and can expect to play primarily in Haldimand , however, may also travel to Norfolk, Six Nations, Brant and Oxford. Locations are dependent on centers and their team registrations.

What are the Covid-19 health and safety protocols?

Hagersville Minor Ball follows the Haldimand County polices and takes direction from the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit. As information becomes available, it will be shared with our softball community.
